this episode was INSANE AND I LOVED IT SO MUCH
falin in that form was CRAZY. the design was incredible holy shit. i'm really hoping there's a way to get her out of the mage's clutches though...
the shuro and laios fight really hurt, but it felt so real! it feels like the author represented both laios and shuro's personalities/cultures so well. laios my neurodivergent king, i love u
also kabru is such a lil freak, he scares me but i love him LOL
i'm so excited to see where we go from here...

Dont know if you notice but Kabru removed his armor before his sneak attack on Falin so as not to make a noise

2024-06-19 02:48:47 +0000 UTCI love this episode. Aside from the terrifying fight with Falin, the fight between Laios and Shuro was just so well done. I think both went away understanding the other better. Laios still considers Shuro a friend and Shuro may disagree with their methods and thinks Laios is annoying - but he gives them the bell because he doesn't want them to be harmed for doing something he might have as well and they thought was necessary.

2024-06-18 18:04:01 +0000 UTCI CRIED when Shuro yelled at Laios. Thinking of Laios as autistic he just doesn't understand those cues and it's not his fault. I wanted to hug him so badly understanding the place he's coming from. Then him just being happy to make a friend omg tore my heart in two. It may also be why he gave so much money to adventurers who left his party because he doesn't understand on a fundamental level that they're using him and he just thinks he's being nice.

2024-06-18 17:22:42 +0000 UTCSucks that the outro got corrupted. This episode was insane. It hurt seeing them attack Falin like that but I understand, she’s literally killing them. It still seems like part of her is still there though. The way she was mesmerized by the undine, how she gently reached her hand out to the kobold, the dog person. You even see her pupils go back to normal as she’s crying for liaos.
