2024-06-04 07:25:43 +0000 UTCYes. I believe that was when Petelgeuse killed Rem and was telling Subaru it was all his fault for not doing anything. "Look. You must look. This is the result of your actions. Because of that, this girl is dead. You killed her!" In that moment Petelgeuse may have been talking about Rem. But with the fact he was shedding tears I personally think he subconsciously remembers and was projecting his own guilt and trauma without us even knowing it. Its brilliant!

2024-06-03 20:38:44 +0000 UTCA little interesting fact that was cut from this episode, that may have bugged you. --------------------------------- Cut Content, not really spoiler: - The lesser spirits guided Emilia to the seal several times, why? Are they evil? Why would they do such a thing? Well, after Fortuna dies in Emilia's arms, Pandora comes to Emilia and says: "You guys did your job, come back to me". Then the spirit show up and go back to Pandora. She was controlling them from the beginning :s Just another reason for you to hate her! She is one of my favorite characters (as my profile picture reveals... hahaha), tho, a fascinating antagonist!

Both Emilia and Satella are half-elf, and Emilia's dad (Fortuna's brother) is a full elf, so her mom would need to be a full-blooded member of another race (most likely a human). Pandora could still be telling the truth about Emilia being the daughter of a witch, though.

2024-06-03 13:47:24 +0000 UTCIf you go back and watch episode 15 of season 1, when Betelgeuse kills rem and starts crying he says “with my arm, with my hands, you killed her” he wasn’t talking about rem he was talking about pandora and how she made him kill fortuna it was the only time he ever actually cried and it wasn’t blood it was tears, genuinely my favorite use of foreshadowing I’ve seen in anime just incredible writing
