Subaru's voice actor put everything out there this episode in his performance. Not that it's the first time, but I can't not point out good fuckin work when I see...hear it.

This is the worst so far too like they were literally crawling inside of him. Can’t imagine what if feels like to lose bits and limbs and then suddenly have them back. Some people will say they could handle Subarus power but nah theres definitely some serious physical and mental whiplash from all this. Just look how he reacts when he returned after getting eaten alive. That’s physical/mental trauma that humans aren’t built to have the capacity to endure. Also omg being able to finally open up about return by death was so satisfying and relatable. We’ve all been there where you feel like you can’t tell anyone something and hold it in for a long time except with subaru he physically couldn’t. If I was him I’d need to cry everything out at least 3-5 more times and even then I’d probably still wouldn’t be able to cope with what’s he’s going through 💀
