2024-04-19 15:44:07 +0000 UTCThe focus on the knife next to the appas is a reference to the novels. Subaru resets SEVERAL times to try and get Rem back, not just the once that the anime shows. Unfortunately, he is not able to save Rem, but he is able to save Crusch who is implied to have died the first time they show her. Edit: Also, the blank letter from S1 was written by Rem. That’s why everyone was confused. She was “eaten” after writing it and before it arrived at the mansion, so what she wrote disappeared.
