Fun fact: Betelgeuse being able to "possess" Subaru's body was shown a few episodes back. When Puck become big, killed Betelgeuse and told Subaru he had commited 3 sins. At the moment of his death, Subaru starts laughing like Betelgeuse, thats actually him being possessed hehehe

That being said Subaru and Julius are best friends and in fact soulmates and love each other deeply and were meant for each other and I won’t listen to any dissenting opinions lalala not listening
