2024-06-20 13:50:02 +0000 UTCLN reader here, Rem only kill Subaru once in the mansion. Ram is the one who killed Subaru in the forest because she didn't want Subaru to get tortured by Rem. This has been stated in the LN. The anime does poorly on that part w/o explaining.

Frozen Bond directly references the events that take place in Memory Snow, and they’re supposed to contrast with each other. It does not directly tie into the overarching plot of Season 1, but should absolutely still be watched. Preferably right before Frozen Bond.

But thanks for clarifying Though still, the hallway death was brought up in season 2 and that she did it to end his suffering, seen through one of his flashbacks in the trial. That was never implied nor explained in season 1 I believe, hence why I’d deem that a spoiler. Also most reactors only caught on to that once they seen the flashback in season 2

Season 2 explains that Rem realized he was cursed and when he was aimlessly wandering the hallways about do die because of the curse she wanted to end his suffering

2024-03-18 15:39:07 +0000 UTCWhen Ram says “I’ll keep an eye on that too.” I’m pretty sure it is a mistranslation. Comparing what she said in the novels during the same moment, I think she’s supposed to be saying something to the effect of, “I’ll keep an eye out using that, too”.
