I have never watched and never understood timer reactions, but after watching this one, I get it. The few seconds to line up my stream at the beginning helps so much, too. Also lets me use different subtitles when I need them. I think maybe the other person I saw do one was missing some of the steps and paused a lot. I pledged to watch the full opacity ones, but I think this was what I actually wanted all along. I know this is a few months old now, but awesome reaction and I am looking forward to the rest of the series!

2024-03-02 14:35:31 +0000 UTCI'm super psyched that you are watching this series. It is a big shift from a lot of what you have reacted to, but I implore you to stick with it. It is so, so good. It is unfortunate that you haven't seen a isekai though since Re:Zero is a deconstruction of the genre. Thankfully Subaru reads a lot of manga and is familiar with the tropes that you aren't so he will from time to time voice what you should expect form an Isekai.
