Luckily most them are pretty straight forward, like Lawine (avalanche) and Kanne (jug, mostly for water) relating to their magic types and to their personalities (Lawine being cold and harsh, while Kanne is rather sentimental).

When Heiter met Frieren he said she had 1/5th of his mana. Meaning Heiter had 5x the mana as an experienced mage, and that was before even setting off to kill the demon king. Also history would call Lawine and Kanne the “best of friends”or even “roommates”…
