Just to note here in case some of us who are watching the show doesn't aware (including myself until looking at the credit) - the CV/VA of Concubin Gyokuyou is actually no other than Ms. Atsumi Tanezaki, who is also the voice actress of Frieren of the Frieren anime and Anya in Spy Family. Have to say that she had done a magnificent job in all these 3 characters!!

2024-02-02 03:44:18 +0000 UTCmaomao didnt add anything crazy with the candies (maybe some alcohol and honey in there). chocolate has always itself been considered an slight aphrodisiac due to some chemicals within it. So the ladies in waiting trying them is probably a combo of the writer playing it up for laughs + them never trying it before
