Yeah I also had mixed feeling about Itsuomi blocking her view. He is blocking her ability to communicate and I don't think that is ever the right thing to do. One the other hand, yeah that is such a guy thing to do (at least younger men). Especially when you like the girl it is easy to get all territorial. "She mine female, you no talk to her. Grunt! Growl!"

I know a father who would not allow his son to cross the street, any street, unless accompanied by a grown-up. That's great for showing concern, except that the kid is in high school!

2024-01-29 02:09:55 +0000 UTCI’m glad you mentioned not liking Itsu’s behavior at the gates. I didn’t love it either, but I AM glad we see some of his toxic traits and not just Oushi’s. It has me even more interested in finding out what makes these guys tick.
