When I started reading the manga I thought Itsu would be some direct playboy that would soften up, but he is just wholesome by nature and actually cares, I love him. He is so direct with his thoughts, he directly shows interest and directly shuts Emma off with her advances. Also what I saw others point out is that when Oushi "talks" to Yuki you see the lights as red and they turn green when Yuki walks towards Itsu (and they turn green again later when they walk home), that's some really direct red flag green flag symbolism.
