I seen this scene like 20 times and still makes me emotional. That choreography, animation, music. I mean soundtrack by Evan Call is stamp of quality. Same as in Violet Evergarden

2024-01-20 02:51:17 +0000 UTCthe chills with the zoltraak theme and the way Fern dodges an attack by side stepping always kills me man it's sooo good. also you can look at axe wielding cutie Linie imitating Eisen just like Lugner imitates speeches, but both do not have any depth to it. so yeah ig her hits doesn't cut too deep into Stark's ..... btw Alana you're right Lugner shares the same VA as Sukuna hehe I forgot

That attack is so fast that it hits before it makes a sound, like how thunder comes after lightning. Also Fern was slaying!! The way she walks up to Lugner, the cold stare, the pure confidence. Look at them go 🥹

So far they have made me feel all the emotions, but here they flex with the battle animation as well. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think this pushed it on the top of MAL all-time list as well. E: Also Linie has to be on the best one-and-done characters of all-time. The way they animated her fighting was mind-blowing. E2: Also the jacket animations...they actually topped Chainsaw Man Makima shirt animation here.

2024-01-20 00:09:39 +0000 UTCAt this point Stark does not trust in his own abilities and always go into battles thinking that he already lost that's why he never really attacked Linie (she pointed it out during the fight) but the moment he realized that her blows were so weak compared to Eisen's he attacked her. He needed just one blow to kill her.
