FRIEREN EP7 REACTION [early access]

man i really thought they were gonna hit us with a sad enemy backstory LMAOOO

Comments

One of my favorite arcs of the anime is kicking off. Our girls and guy are about to flex HARD.

Charlie Gollmar

Frieren is savage

KENXO

I think the wraps on Stark's arms are just an aesthetic mirroring his master bc Eisen has wraps as well.

KIMI

Frieren really said "bish im stronger than yo boss." Draht is so underleveled for this fight💀

I wouldn't say there is a spoiler in here, nothing we don't know yet. Purposfully vague with Aura.

Lügner - basicly means lier in German. No explanation needed. Linie- line - but I don't fully get why she is called that way. Maybe because of her figthing, just like Drath - wire - since that is the way he kills. Aura is just Aura. Without too much explanation, her magic has to do with that too.

On that note, many systems, classes, magic etc. seems to be extremely similar to DnD

I always teared up when there was a flashback in the manga. Then when the anime came out, I remember pre-crying because I knew when the flashbacks were coming.

It is really refreshing to see some good old fantasy tropes. Kinda annoying how repetitive fantasy anime is nowadays, I blame Isekai lmao

Like others said: It's really cool to have the main threat to actually be some kind of monster, and there is even a reason to why they are. It feels good to know that we won't get a tragic backstory for the villian in the middle of the fight (like in the last demon slayer season, that was so annoying). Also for the names: Lügner is a literal liar by name, which is funny as he introduces the viewers to all demons being liars by nature; Draht is a steel thread resembling his magic that we saw against the guard, and Linie translates to a (thin) drawn line (a stroke even), but we haven't seen much of her yet. Also to note is that even the places they visit have some meaning, but that would be too much, I just thought that the blocked road being called the Eng Road (literally the thin/narrow road) is funny as it's, just a really narrow road that's easily blocked.

Can’t wait for next three incredible episodes 😎

They’re very much like DnD demons in action. Just straight up evil beasts that want to sow chaos and violence because it appeases them.

ThaDoubleB

Honestly, the demons in this show are refreshing. No tragic backstories to make them misunderstood, nor are they evil; they're just predators following their natural instincts
