We jumping from peak to peak. Both Vinland and Frieren are 1-2 boxing as my anime of the year. Can’t wait for you to see more of this anime 🫰🏼

2024-01-09 14:18:18 +0000 UTCI haven't watched a single episode without shedding a tear. Fun fact: Himmel in both german and swedish means heaven/sky. That's why the camera panned up to the sky when they were sitting on the wagon after defeating Qual as they were both looking up at the blue sky and talking about how Himmel believed in Frieren. Also Himmel's blue colors are very similar to that of a blue sky.

I'm an old anime fan (watched the original Astro Boy back in the 60s) so a lot of this story hits home differently than for most. Having lost family and friends to the passage of time I really felt the pain but also the happiness, remembering the past and passing the memories on to younger people. I always look forward to your reactions even if I can't watch them all! Thank you for your videos!

2024-01-08 16:24:47 +0000 UTCFrieren's VA also voices Futaba in Bunny Girl Senpai and Fern is voiced by Maki's VA from Love is War. Bocchi and Frieren are the only two animes Keiichiro Saito has ever directed. It's safe to say he is pretty good at it, lol.

2024-01-08 16:23:58 +0000 UTCA couple fun facts about the series: Frieren's VA is Anya from SpyxFamily lol, also the manga won the 14° Manga Taishō and the New Creator Prize of the 25° Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize, the serie's director is the same from Bocchi the Rock and you already saw that the OST Composer is the one and only Evan Call and ofc Yoasobi with the OP and Milet with the ED, with MadHouse doing the anime adaptation (an amazing job, not rushing things and showing so much care for the story) is not surprising that it got so popular.
