2024-01-06 21:20:55 +0000 UTCWhat a ride!! It fr isn’t fair to compare seasons cuz both were phenomenal and had different goals in mind. Both of which went above and beyond to achieve their goal! My favorite episode in season 1 was 22. Askeladds backstory and the ending scene when thorfinn screams out of frustration hit hard. As for season 2 def episode 9. That whole out of body experience thorfinn went through and him finally making his breakthrough was such a rewarding experience. Gardar and Arnheids arc came really close too tho. I can’t wait for you to meet all the characters that will show up in season 3 and 4!!! Your reactions have been really fun to watch! I’m fairly new and glad I found you! I’m sure someone here has recommended this before but you should def check out Re zero if you haven’t!! MC in Re zero also goes through his own healing/growth arc. Not exactly like thorfinns! You’d definitely love it especially since you liked oregairu too!

For so many reasons, but the main one I point to is: No matter how hard I try... I'll never be a Demon Slayer, or King of the Pirates, or a Spirit Detective.... but I CAN be a stronger and kinder person. VS literally helped change the way I approach life, and I'm better for it. Totally recommend getting the hardcovers, the art is beautiful and theyre a great set to display. I have all the volumes myself! Also, love how well Thors is written, even though he literally died in episode 3 of S1?? And he is still such a huge character!! Literally the GOAT. And lastly, the final shot sequence was sooooooo cool to see. For me, i think it kinda signifies the beginning of each of their journeys? Young Thors and Helga leaving Jomsburg to start a new life, young Lief eager for adventure, young Askeladd setting off to be the future savior of Wales. And then Thorfinn, who has finished his backstory and now knows his purpose... off and ready to start his journey (Also shout-out Snake/Roald, for giving our boy the coolest scar). Man, I cant wait to see S3. Its gonna be great.

I really hope you will enjoy the manga. I loved how much you could see Thorfinn's change over the year in the next arc(s).
