So i definitely hate Ketil, the way he hurt Arnheid, and I don't like Ketil's wife either who obviously told him the worst possible version of events to get him mad at her as well. But I don't really see him hitting the kids for theft as a reason to hate him. Context is important l and it was pretty obvious by the way Thorgil talked that if Ketil didn't do he would and he obviously hit that kid way harder than Ketil did. So yeah it sucks that he hit the kids, but he also hit them himself to stop his insane battle-crazed son from doing it which would be worse.

If you imagine that stick that he's holding would normally have the blade of an axe attatched to the end, you can imply the extent of Arnheid's injuries. Ketil is truly the scum of the earth, ally my friends hate Ketil
