Man, I had to come back to this after the most recent S2 reaction. I love this man, one of my fav characters of all time. This part, is just like when he saved his mother when he was a kid. If Artorius wasnt going to save his mother, he never would. In this moment, if Artorius wasn't going to come back and save Wales, he never would have. Instead, Askeladd did... which also in turn fulfilled the prophecy. Artorius did indeed, return to save Wales.
