OLM studio works in teams. Komi was made by Team Kojima (Hiroaki Kojima was the leader) but the team was disbanded after making Summer Time Rendering and the members establisghed BUG Films (in charge of ZOM100). I think that there were problems between the company and the animators of the team regarding schedules, overwork and overall poor working conditions and its kinda obvious during Komi S2 in some episodes.

2023-11-08 05:44:36 +0000 UTCOne thing about the Netflix version that really bothers me is that they really just couldn't be bothered translating all the on-screen text, which is such a shame because you miss out on so much! For example, ALL THE TEXT ON THE BLACKBOARD!~! It's such a cute convo that they have and anyone watching the Netflix version who doesn't understand Japanese just completely misses out.
