Maybe you might also be interested in: Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun (Monthly Girl's Nozaki-kun): which is in my opinion similar to Wotakoi even though the characters are high schoolers. It's also very comedic and the story is very slice of life. Kobayashi's Dragon Maid: grown ups slice of life with a love story (if you want to call it that) between a female office worker and a dragon girl that she saves. It is also very comedic and in spite of the whole dragon part of the plot it's actually a very "normal" setting. Barakamon: a slice of life of a burnt out renowned calligrapher who retreats to a remote country/island side to get away from everything and find inspiration. His attempt at finding peace and quiet is spoiled by his quirky neighbours. These three shows are some that I love a lot and that are rarely reacted to. Maybe you are interested in giving one of them a try. Btw, there is a live action adaptation of Wotakoi. I can't remember if it was any good since it has been some time since I watched it.

The best romance/slice of life show in a while. No ecchi stuff or weirdness, just pure wholesomeness. Has 8+ MAL rating as well, but can't find too many reactions to it.
