2023-09-04 15:29:33 +0000 UTCThis showed how the Legion works, even though Kiriya had a burning desire to fight Shin he couldn't overcome the "Legion Layer", he is a machine now. He must follow orders directly and his personal feelings don't matter anymore. The legion layer has overwhelming power over individual personalities and it can only be overcome when the machine is damaged enough that it creates enough error for the mind to act over it. Baleygr is another name for Odin, who has one eye. Since the Reginleiffs only have one eye it kinda fits. But also, the legion is aware of Shin's skills and have been following him since the 86 district. On Lena, Shin heard her as a mechanized voice in the Legion attack, you know what that means.

It’s somewhat hinted that they’re aware of his ability to hear them which is why they were able to take Shin by surprise with that bait because he isn’t able to hear the Legion when they’re ‘sleeping’. The emotional rollercoaster you’re going through is quite relatable😂 It’s entertaining watching the copium unfold.
