Alana I believe you missed Raidens line "talk to you later, Major. Hope you can do this with the next ones, too." Next ones meaning the next squadron she’d be assigned to They knew their time with Lena was over because they literally have to keep moving otherwise they‘ll get killed and it was their way of cutting ties with her, acting like everything’s fine so she doesn’t worry too much, while Lena immediately realized they will be gone and she can’t talk to them after they get out of the 86th district hence why she started running towards them to keep the connection until the very end.
