Lena on a long distance calls with Shin and also knowing she's very empathetic towards the 86ers (which could lead to, like you said, conflicting feelings since every bond and emotions just goes through the phone/PARA-Raid) is the reason why I finished these 23 episodes in like 28 hours kjsdhfjksd

2023-07-26 23:47:26 +0000 UTCThe soundtrack and direction on this adaptation is stellar. I liked the novels a lot, but the anime adaptation smashed it out of the park. Lot of great adaptations the last few years with this, CSM, Kaguya Sama, and OnK.

2023-07-26 23:05:22 +0000 UTCWhen Aldrecht, the mechanic of Spearhead Squadron, said Lena had a hard life, I think he meant about the fact she was in a minority of Alba that could not accept the oppression of the 86. It strains all her relationships and hinders her career, or at least it would if she wasn't both talented and benefiting from nepotism. Also the music goes hard because it was mostly all by Hiroyuki Sawano :)
