2023-07-23 02:59:08 +0000 UTCAbsolutely! Horimiya has managed to captivate its audience not solely through the romantic development between Hori and Miyamura, but rather by weaving a tapestry of heartwarming interactions among all the characters. This aspect of the series, the camaraderie and authenticity of their connections, has struck a chord with fans, making it so beloved. The current season of Horimiya represents a turning point, demonstrating what the producers should have aimed for from the beginning. By staying true to the source material and faithfully animating each chapter of the manga, the show can reach new heights in terms of quality and storytelling. This dedication to authenticity brings out the charm of Horimiya's characters, making viewers genuinely care about their lives and relationships. The episodic format, akin to one-shot manga, enhances the show's appeal. Each episode can stand independently, almost like a self-contained story, while still contributing to the overarching narrative. This approach allows viewers to enjoy any episode at random, yet it feels like a rewarding experience since they are still engaged with the broader plot and character development. If the animation studio continues to maintain this level of dedication and craftsmanship, Horimiya could indeed become a show that rivals iconic sitcoms like "Friends," "The Big Bang Theory," or "How I Met Your Mother" in terms of its cultural impact and audience appeal. The show's blend of heartfelt moments, humor, and relatable character dynamics offers a unique and fulfilling experience for fans. The prospect of having more episodes is truly exciting. It allows viewers to immerse themselves further into the lives of these endearing characters and savor each moment of the series. Whether it's as a heartwarming background show or a focused viewing experience, Horimiya remains a genuine and delightful series that continues to spread joy among its audience.

2023-07-22 23:51:20 +0000 UTCI feel like this season seems better than the first. But that’s because we have our established characters and we know what happens at the end. It feels like remembering the good times you had in your youth. Nostalgic, that’s the word I’m looking for

2023-07-22 22:54:39 +0000 UTCIt's so crazy how insanely realistic all these interactions feel while still being quite cartoony at the same time somehow? With the way they interact, Hori and Miyamura genuinely feel like one of the most realistic couples I've ever seen depicted in media which makes the cute moments even better than they would normally be. I think I'm also enjoying this season more so far, simply because of the nature of how they adapted things. They focused more on the drama of it all in the original series at a certain point while in this one we get to see all the super wholesome slice of life moments which I'm a super huge sucker for!
