2023-07-20 12:32:23 +0000 UTCThis show definitely portrays teens accurately... most are impulsive and short-sighted... thinking they know what's best for themselves. I think Ami said it best in the episode, where they were all too young to be dwelling on their life decisions. I know a lot of people have mixed feelings about these last couple of episodes, especially how Ryuji and Taiga handled the situations with their parents... but that's just how life is sometimes... it won't always go according to plan, nor is it always black or white.

Realizing it’s ending, and getting all these payoffs and revaluations fills you up with so much emotions. Rewatching it again, it breaks my heart when Ryuuji attacks his mother like that. But he’s just a teen that’s frustrated that he feels like he has no say about his future; while also not actually thinking about his future.
