And, on a related note, also happy that you're reacting to Ore ga iru. I found Ore ga iru shortly after Kaguya when I was trying (and failing) to find a romance series that could compare to Kaguya. In fact, I found it through a recommendation in the Kaguya reddit that explicitly said 'if you like the Xmas arc of Kaguya, you'll like Ore ga iru'. And they were right, as Ore ga iru is pretty much the only romance series I prefer to Kaguya (mostly because I prefer drama to comedy; Kaguya is nearly flawless at everything it does, but its drama isn't as complex or as prominent as in Ore ga iru).
