also, update for those wondering: 90% of the data on my hard drive is salvageable! the company i sent it to is going to work to get my data back. it may take a few weeks but i will be able to share this initial reaction, MDUD ep6, and bocchi ep4 if they can recover that particular footage.
in the meantime, my rewatch/analysis reaction of MDUD episode 6 and bocchi episode 4 will be up tomorrow. first-time reactions will start up again on wednesday, with haikyuu s4 ep16. thanks for understanding again, everyone

Proportions of the characters are off and a lot of the characters are "off model" (meaning they don't follow the model of how the character is supposed to look). I know COVID had some impact, but a lot of it looks like cost cost cutting and replacing work that would have been done by veteran animators with new hires or interns.

They pretty much animated this season or at least some of this season from home. You will see some animated parts reused a few times this season as well.
