The final episodes of Your Lie in April aired in Japan exactly 8 years ago, in March 2015. Since then there have been a YLIA live action movie, a stage play, and in 2022 a musical version. Now in March - April 2023 there will be a YLIA musical stage reading featuring 9 pairs, a total 18, of some the best known voice actors of Japan. YLIA, and Kousei and Kaori, live on!

2022-11-10 15:23:08 +0000 UTCThank you for this wonderful journey! >:) IF one day you are feeling masochistic enough to rewatch this masterpiece of a series, perhaps on your own time, may I recommend you check out the dubbed version? I know sub vs. dub is always a hot topic in anime, even tho I never really cared how people watch their stuff, I mostly just choose the dub because its more convenient, even if the sub is objectively better a lot of times. BUT this anime is one of those rare exceptions where the dub is actually just straight up so much better imo, the translation compliments the flowery writing style so well and the VAs kill it even when it comes to the intense emotional moments. They nailed the casting so well, it wont disappoint.
