RANT

Hey guys, hope everyone's having a good summer! So a lot has been going on in the world lately involving online censorship, and politics, and doom and gloom and seriously you can skip this section if you want.

Anyway I'm sure most of you have heard about the Steam and Itch.io having their porn games pulled by ISPs, then there's the whole thing where a bunch of countries are trying to tighten age restrictions and to be honest, all that hit me pretty hard.

Like I actually couldn't sleep one night because I was thinking what if my art and my work is next on the chopping block, what if I could loose something I'm passionate about and it's completely out of my control. This isn't an excuse but, it even set me back on the Akko sequence just because I genuinely thought for like, three days that it was pointless. "there just gonna take it down" I thought. "Might as well start writing kids books, that's all there gonna allow in a few years!" yeah I was spiraling pretty bad.

I'm doing better now don't worry, and while I still thing all that's possible, I basically just accepted that... nothing is guaranteed. Different industries have always had to worry about job insecurity, censorship, being replaced by automation, and eventually I just realized that my life will go in directions that I can't predict or control. Maybe my art will get censored tomorrow, maybe next year, maybe in five years, or ten years.

maybe it'll get censored but not everywhere. Maybe it'll get censored for a while and then uncensored later on, I don't know. I guess I just realized I can't let the fear of what might happen stop me from doing what I love right now.

ART NEWS

Alright boys we've done six polls without a single new fat ass anime girl, so what are we gonna do!?

Don't worry I'm almost done I swear, like I mentioned in the first section, the Akko sequence got delayed a bit I am currently setting all the values and tomorrow I should be able to start rendering the whole thing. don't worry I color with gradient maps so that part is the fastest. After that, I'll get right into the Kobeni piece, and the rest of the poll winners will be released, along with each part of the Akko sequence.
