LIL Server Upgrades
Added 2024-06-15 05:46:11 +0000 UTCToday, I bit the bullet and started upgrading the LIL server. Since our reinvention a year ago, we have been plagued with 503 errors and running out of resources to run our little site. The trick here is to move to the next tier up of a dedicated server, but that means moving away from a managed one... and I will not lie... it is a little daunting. So today, I put on my grown-up panties and said... you know what... let's do this!
Long story short (too late)...we are transitioning to a much higher-powered server. This means LIL is temporarily down. I took it down today and have been going gang-busters on it, trying to get it all switched over. We are at the final stages of switching the DNS domain name settings, and once that propagates, I am hopeful we should be able to return with only a few minor quirks and kinks to work out... but now faster, sleeker and better (hopefully).
More to come... hopefully, it's good news that the server is back and better than ever... stay tuned.

Thank you very much for all of your hard work. I know a lot of people really appreciate it, myself included. I hope you are able to play and have fun on there as well.
