Soooo... What's up everyone???
I just recently finished the content for day 6 and, while I haven't had much time to touch day 7 yet (with my GPU dying on me and everything), I made progress on other parts of the game.
Today I'm going to show you guys some of the things I did since the last update. But first, as you all know I'm redoing some of the scenes and, boy, let me tell you... They are looking amazing! Since last dev update I showed you guys a comparison of some of them, I'll do it again for this one, this time with day 6 content! Check it out:
Here's the first example:

Old version: Too bright, oversaturated colors and don't even get me started on the damn bike!

New Version: Pleasant colors, lighting that at least makes some sense, and that sweet, sweet reflection on the bike!
Nice right? Now check out the second one:

Old version: This one was pretty good as it was... But I replaced the abandoned house model for this sequence so I had to redo the scene.

New Version: This was a bit controversial over at our discord server. Some people liked it, some people didn't... I personally like it as it gives out a warmer feeling. Also, sweaty Linda is always a plus!
Now, the last comparison, a fan favorite:

Old version: Yup... That's right... The chimpmunk face. I personally hated the lighting on this scene, it looked way too bland.

New version: Behold, I present you... Chipmunk face 2.0! I love this new version, the lighting looks great and it actually feels like they're really having a conversation (well, as much as you can talk with your mouth full). By the way, if you're brazilian, try to find the easter egg in this picture!
Anyway, that's that for the comparison shots, let's get on with the more technicall stuff.
1 - NEW LANGUAGE SELECTION INTERFACE
Remember that big, ugly language picker that greeted you every, damn, time, you booted up the game? Yep, that's gone, now it looks like this:

They're now little buttons at the bottom of the main menu that will show up once you hover the area they're located and automatically hide once you're not hovering it anymore.
2 - RANDOM SMS MESSAGES
This one is nice! With the new SMS system, you will be able to send sms to the girls at any time you want!
The text is randomly generated from a list of dialogues, but some of them can help you increase your standing with the girls or even got them to send you new pics!
Once you sent an SMS to a girl though, you won't be able to send them a new one untill the next period (Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Night). We don't want to bother them too much, do we?
Once you sent them a message, their icon will display this message if you hover it:

Don't worry, it'll go away on the next period.
3 - SMS TRIGGERED EVENTS
Similar to the random SMS feature, this is a way to trigger and start girl specific events. During pre-determined periods of set days you'll see the icon for the phone like this:

This indicates that there's an event available for a girl, you just click on the phone icon and you'll be automatically redirected to the SMS system and a conversation will start where the event will be set.
There will be visual cues on the world map so you know where the even will take place.
(I'll probably change this feature later on so it doesn't take you directly to the SMS window)
4 - TRAITS SCORE FOR MC AND THE GIRLS
One of the cool thing I added recently was a submenu to the profile section, this submenu is a list of all the stat related traits for the character you're currently viewing, it will look like this:
For MC:

For the girls:

There are currently around 20 distinct traits for MC and girls (give or take some). Each one of those traits have ranks that update automatically once you reach a milestone on the related stat.
One cool thing here is that, in MC's case, the last two ranks aren't obtained automatically, but upon completion of a Rank Upgrade Quest.
Each of those quests will be unique to the stat related to that trait (I have a kind of marathon in mind for that). This is "endgame" content and, as such, will only be available later on.
5 - ADDED WARDROBE FOR MC AND SLIGHTLY REWORKED GIRLS' WARDROBE
I have also added the wardrobe for MC and slightly reworked the wardrobe for the girls so it shows the girl's current Affection and Lust score and a visual cue if the clothing piece is currently locked:

As you can see, MC's clothes have a Karma requirement. Karma is a system I put in place and is working already but, right now, the only effect it has on the game is MC's clothes's availability. I'll expand that system later on though.
Also, if you look at the last clothing piece at Joana's wardrobe, you'll notice it's blured out and has a lock symbol on it. That means you still need to either buy that clothing or unlock it (through events or other girl related stuff).
6 - FETISHES SELECTION SCREEN
One of the new additions (and my favorite so far) is the fetish selection screen. This screen will pop-up every time you start a new playthough and it'll let you activate or deactivate fetishes to your liking.

As The Inn grows, the number of fetishes I want to explore will also grow. That being said, some of those fetishes will not be to your liking (I like call those "controversial" fetishes). This screen will help you tailor your experience while playing The Inn to your liking, and avoid seeing content you don't like or don't feel comfortable with.
Bear in mind that activating or deactivating a fetish will only impact the gameplay visually. Some character storylines will be slightly changed to conform to your selection, but it'll be just minor changes. You won't lose content in any way.
7 - REWORKED SPECIAL EPISODES SYSTEM
One other thing I enjoyed redoing was the special system (right now with only the Halloween Special available). As the special episodes are now accessed through the phone screen, it would be annoying to have to finish the entire episode if you want go back to the main game.
With this in mind I created a checkpoint system for the specials. Now your progress will be automatically saved after you reach a checkpoint and you'll be able to quit the special and go back to it whenever you want.
Also, after finishing the entire special, you'll unlock a new screen where you can select the parts you want to replay in that episode.

This opens up a lot of new possibilities and allows for a more fluid gameplay experience.
8 - VISUAL CUES FOR CHOICES
Another pretty nice addition that someone's been asking for a long time (got ya covered Ginyu).
You'll now be able to know what each of your actions will affect.


I plan on making that optional though, as some players may consider this spoiler-ish.
9 - FINAL CONSIDERATIONS
Huh... You're still here, eh?
I recently posted a patron exclusive poll asking if I should or not pause my pledges until release. The majority voted that I don't need to pause them... I'll have to confess that I'm kinda surprised. I don't know what to say besides thank you.
