You said you weren't sure if your Star Trek audience would be into this movie, but speaking as a Star Trek fan who loves this movie, I was glad to rewatch this fantastic masterpiece, and this time with you! By the way, you said you'd ridden BART in the past... Are you from Oakland? I've lived in Oakland for 24 years and recognized many, many of the depicted locations which was a special bonus. I wonder if you feel the same. Also, worth mentioning that Boots Riley, the creator of the movie, has also made a TV series called "I'm a Virgo" which you may also like.
