They beat me to it but Airplane and Airplane 2 is this type of comedy on steroids from Zucker Zucker and Abrams kings of zany comedy plus more police squad movies but police squad the show was first also great

2025-02-02 06:53:42 +0000 UTCActually their first film was "Kentucky Fried Movie" - a skit film. Also, "Ruthless People" is a totally different type of film and brilliantly written - a perfect story. Both are highly recommended for ZAZ fans - but aren't as well known as Airplane, Naked Gun and Hot Shots franchises.

"Police Squad" isn't streaming currently but search YouTube for Police Squad and Funny Moments or Greatest Moments, and you will see many funny scenes from the show. I'm sure you would enjoy when Ricard Montalban was a guest on David Letterman's Late Night. He was willing to have fun with Dave and enjoy the interview. Search David Letterman Ricardo Montalban. It was from April 14, 1987.
