I remember that episode, and another one in what April is turned into a catgirl. Silverhawks was interesting too, although I watched it much more less ๐

2025-10-21 13:12:05 +0000 UTCI can clearly remember being totally obsessed for a while as a kid with an episode of Ninja Turtles where April gets locked in a big machine that turns her into a fish. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AOs_HwM3oU8 I couldnโt stop thinking about it for days after. SilverHawks also comes to mind https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EqsgLxuMhLE Those shiny, skintight armors were just amazing. I think thereโs even an episode where some of the heroes get captured and displayed on a wall like trophies in the villainโs lair. And of course Dragon Ball Z, especially when Buu turns people he meets into chocolate bars or cookies.

2025-10-20 19:29:16 +0000 UTCI definitely watched He-Man and enjoyed seeing Teela frozen (Battle Cats too). Sorceress turned into a tree, and even He-Man turned to metal. Back then cartoons were definitely a primary source, but basic books (Aesop's Fables, with Midas turning his daughter to gold, and Daphane being turned into a tree by Apollo). Given you listed many of the cartoons of my day, you can't be too far removed from my age bracket. I did find it motivating, I read more and religiously hunted books and fantasy TV series hoping for something. Clash of the Titans (original), and then real gem in the "Wishmaster" with a real mannequin TF (but that was a bit later in life). Still fun to think about all this - it definitely isn't based in sexual/kink, it's something people have from birth it seems. Playing mannequin in the mall with Mom, or freeze tag
