The Varnished Museum

When a girl doesn't have the money to pay her studies in the university for a time, the art and science departments have a deal with her. She will be used as a guinea pig in the science department, with a new stasis device to preserve living creatures and people for space travels.

The process induces a new artificial state in the water of the creature or person, making permanent the hydrogen bonds by a sudden and very strong magnetic induction, a sort of ice at room temperature, but totally stable, like the glass, and doesn't melt with increasing temperature, vitrifing that being or human like an extremely realistic statue, and for practical purposes, chemically and physically, freezing time.

The process is totally safe and reversible, but for now the problem is it isn't perfectioned, the strong magnetic induction makes the hydrogen bonds too stable, and can't be undone immediately after to be actived and besides depends a lot of each subject in a way that the scientist and students of the department haven't discovered yet how works, and needs between 10 and 22 months, aproximatelly (some subjects need more or less time) after the induction to be reversed.

So while the girls are in stasis the flesh is hard like diamond and their minds are totally freeze. The science department could save them inside a box waiting that time, and nothing would matter for the guinea pigs.

Then is when the art department enters, renting the girls as decorative pieces for rich people and big companies, saving the girl, now statue, a 60% of the rent, and when the girl isn't rented she is exposed in a warehouse of the department for whoever wants to see, noting the exposure time like any modeling job, which will also be paid later after returning to normal.

After the 10th month, every month, week if the girl is in the museum and not rented, the statue is checked to reverse the process. When the girl is human again she has the her pay, the sum of the rent and the payment for the modeling in the art department, so her money problems for the next study year has finished.

After to see one of the last drawings of VeeButSpicy, I wanted to do my own exhibition of varnished or vitrified girls, turned into beautiful rigid realistic statues, only for the pleasure of whoever that want to watch them.
