there are faceless mannequins in the room, and with me as this demon security thing, the thief would pose among this mannequins and look like yet another faceless plasticdummy, therefore nobody even _thinks_ the missing person could be among the mannequins, and even when: faceless, no fingerprints, wig with artificial hair - no way to identify the former human, they are all just mannequins ...)
