Just having a re-read to flow nicely into the new chapter and spotted this, They dug through the bags of rubbish, finding lots of stinking mess but nothing else from the electronics store... until Alyssa pulled out a bag from the bottle of the pile. Shouldn't that be bottom of the pile?

Jon won't be the hero the universe wants... but he will be the Villan they need. End game here is John becomes the Villan by being the hero. If he tries to right wrongs and keeps doing so the races will gater to counter him and he will probably fake his own death and retreat into obscurity. A living legend roaming space and time popping up to 'help' or hinder someone based on who controls the message. A few high up will know there is a immortal force that will come down on them but for the most part he will be forgotten. Then Tefler is free to explore the next story in this woven universe to see what comes next. Just my thoughts.

One of the reasons I love this story is because of the constant weighing of one's moral compass. With that being said it begs to question what is the ultimate endgame? I doubt very few of the projectors will pass Alyssa's test of good and bad. Ergo, John is going to have to find a way to address the vacuum that is created. This is where I open it up to the community for a discussion. And while in this neck of the universe progenitors may be at the top of the food chain, we have no idea what else is awaiting us. I can very easily see some type of - "Picard, Let me introduce you to the BORG" so calmly said Q - moment so artfully done as a classic Tefler Curve Ball. Something to ponder during this time of creation. Be Safe and Sane all!

Oh yeah, when you turn this into the three-volume best seller, please have an editor do most of the work on the conversion so that you can devote yourself to the writing of the sequel(s), prequel, and new tales about some of the supporting cast immediately after finishing the full 3SM.

Thank you. Probably your best chapter since #100 (my all-time favorite). At many times in this saga, I have concluded it is a work of pure genius. And then you top yourself. You have at least a three-volume trilogy with a major publisher here after a little rewriting to tone down the sex for the popular market. Think Dune. Chapters 136 (and 135) were a brilliant resolution to the big event we all knew was coming, and at least to me contained enough resolutions while at the same time surprising and delighting.
