Devlog #1: Game Mechanics and New NPCs

The first Devlog for Glore! Devlogs will fill you in with what I've been doing and working on, along with what I hope to have done by the next Devlog.

I want to start by mentioning that I spent a good chunk of time finalizing Voluptuous Fantasy for Steam. Steam requires a lot of visual assets for no reason at all, and don't get me started on everything else. Lets just say it was a headache and a half.

But I did find time to work on Glore, and I really focused on game mechanics since a majority wanted that improved in the last Poll.

First off, I added 'auto-movement' where you can press Shift to continue moving forwards. You can rotate your character, as well as strafe side-to-side, but if you click shift again (or up/down) it will cancel auto-movement.

Secondly I added a nice thing called... wait for it... looking around. Yup, simple as that. However, it wasn't so simple to add. I won't go into detail, but basically it kept trying to rotate the character a full 360, and it took a lot of time to get it working properly.

All in all, you will be able to use your mouse to look around a bit. You won't get the full first person experience since this is a grid-based game, but it allows you to tilt your camera around and see things.

And finally, 2 new characters! The first is the admirer who chills by the railing, talking about how she came from the moon. (She's a bit coo-coo, don't mind her.) And the racer. That's right, racer. Because I will be adding racing to the game eventually, with hover cars.

On the to-do list is more scenery for Sissy, so you can go "oooo" and "aaah" when you walk around, plus a Settings menu to change things. (Y'all like to change things.)

But that's enough for now, I'll be showing off the characters in the first Showcase on Friday. So get ready to see some big tits and a pancake making ass.

Until the next Devlog, cheers!
