I posted a few days ago about Merch, you can click [here] to check it out if you haven't already. Although many votes were 'Interested', the majority were 'Not Interested'. I also had a few people reach out to me and express their thoughts on Merch.
I have come to the decision to postpone Merch indefinitely until Patreon makes a better way to distribute it. The method they use right now is fairly messy and expensive. I really like the idea of being able to hand out physical goods, but as of right now, it's just not feasible.
However, I'd still love to have Merch at some point if Patreon ever adds in a new way to offer it!
A Day in the Life of a Game Developer
Realizing that I haven't really shared what it's like to develop a game, I thought I'd let you know!
Let's talk about making a new chapter for Voluptuous Fantasy. First, I wake up, get ready, and make a cup of coffee. Usually, I'll either spend the day drawing or coding. If I'm drawing, I get my tablet ready, find references for characters or monster girls to help get some ideas, get a design sheet ready, and start the process. I'll spend the rest of the day drawing, outlining, coloring, and shading as much as I can.
If I'm coding, I start up Unity and decide which part of the game I want to develop. For example, if I drew out some monster girls that need to be added to the game, I'll add them. To do that, I assign them into a library with the rest of the monster girls. I link them to a script and give them a name, stats, and any other information. I also find some audio for the sound they make. Once everything is ready, I playtest the dungeon a few times and tweak their stats to make sure they aren't too difficult or too easy.
If there aren't any monster girls to add, I'll either be writing the dialogue for the game, finding backgrounds or other visuals, adding new elements to the map or island, designing and programming a new shop or minigame (if there are any), adding music, adding in any new Gallery content, designing icons such as Rare Cards, improving any code that can be improved, etc etc.
Some days, if I'm not drawing or coding, I'll be designing graphical assets or trailers for the store page.
That's basically it! It's a timely process but I enjoy it! If you have any questions about anything, please send me a message! I'm a pretty easy-going person, so I'm always happy to help in any way that I can.
(Today I'll be working on designing as many new weight gain stages for Delilah so I can start coding Fatrifice 3 soon)
