So... Let me know what you want! (Ended)

So I'm curious, in the field of weight gain/belly fetish content, what makes a game stand out to you? (Other than the obvious lewdness)

As you know, I like making a variety of different games and testing my skills as a game developer. I try to make each game as unique and different as possible.

I've been working on a few prototypes for a new WG game since The Heft Effect is slowly coming to an end, and I was hoping to get a solid insight into what everyone wants!

I attached a poll with a few ideas, but if you have any other ideas (or 'wants') I would very much appreciate it if you left a comment or sent me a message!

~This poll is to help guide me in game development for the next game, and doesn't have a 'winner'

~Poll ends in a week.

I could potentially add in a sort of 'spa' (or the like) in a later update that allows you to bond with certain girls, unlocking extra cutscenes and 'maybe' interactions? I'll definitely consider adding different paths/endings too, but for a game with different elements (like crab racing, soon bounties, with more content coming later) it may be a bit difficult to do. But Id really like to get as close as I can adding choices in the game without it cutting too much content out I did take a quick look at Giant Gaurdians, but Ill also look more into tonight as well! Adding a reward for a certain tier to choose what characters get certain content is also a really good idea! I have been coming up with ideas for later games, and I was thinking of possibly adding in a sort of 'loot box' system, and higher tiers get loot boxes for each update or each month. (Im thinking of doing a tier overhaul in the next month or two to perfect the rewards patrons receive) Anyways, these are still just some ideas I had. But I appreciate you sharing your thoughts and Ill definitely keep them all in mind so I can improving the games! 😊

Also, with this approach, you can even make a new patreon tier where people can request a certain character get content. It's how Giant Guardians does it, and it works super well.

No problem!! Also, the game I had in my head was Giant Guardians, where their game still follows a linear story, but based on who you talk to/interact more, you can change the course of the story in different ways. That game is fully text though, but I do really like the game mechanics you have right now in your game. So maybe, instead of how in their game making a wrong text choice can change the game, failing to complete the dungeon could change how the story goes rather than completely kill you. And maybe in some scenarios you want to lose to make the story go in a certain way. Overall, I think you have a really really solid game mechanic, and using that game mechanic while following other games, like Giant Guardians, where choices in your game lead to different endings/paths with how you play the game would honestly make this one of the best games of this content out there.

Thanks so much for the feedback! I also agree, I think having an open world game would be a lot more enjoyable. (Along with a variety of WG fetishes.) I have been brainstorming a lot of game ideas lately, so I'll be sharing them with everyone later to see what stands out the most :) If you have any ideas youd like to share, or reference any games that you enjoy playing, Id be happy to hear them or check them out!

I think personally, having a more fleshed out story + open world game would be awesome and give it more replay rather than it be linear. Or maybe for it to be replayable still if making it completely open world is too hard, you can follow the linear story, but you can get attraction points to certain characters to unlock different scenes/even types of the fat fetish content (weight gain, vore, squashing, giantess, etc). That would make it super replayable imo, that open ended game play for the player to choose their story.

For you, would an open (free to explore) world be on bar with Voluptuous Fantasy, or something a bit more expansive? Also, do you prefer procedurally generated worlds, or worlds that you get to know and love?

I believe there's a compounding effect from the big three that are the meat and potatoes of a good game: 1. Freedom/Exploration 2. A Captivating, Fleshed Out Story 3. Replayability While the other options in the poll would compliment certain games of a particular genre, I believe a well written story paired with the ability to roam a (relatively) open world would give a game plenty of replay value.
