2025-11-12 17:04:39 +0000 UTCiâm thinking that Souta confronts Nao, putting his feelings on blast and basically asking him what he meant by âim afraid to lose our friendshipâ. Cause our girlie is right⊠usually when you donât like someone, even a friend, youâd typically respond âIâm sorry i donât like you like thatâ or something very upfront. But when he says it like that⊠it makes you think if heâs just confused⊠Either way iâm hoping they talk it out. My hope is that Souta has the confidence to be himself around Nao while Nao gets the opportunity to develop his feelings more. That way, both Souta and Nao both know the status of their relationship, even if itâs not strictly defined as a âplatonicâ friendship. Idk if that makes sense but thatâs my thoughts on it lol.

2025-11-08 05:20:17 +0000 UTCI think my theory is right that Nao has no idea how to be with someone romantically. He's had friends in the past and has had familial bond with his mom and big sister at one point but he's never seen what it was like to see two people to be in love. His parents consistently fought and the only time he dated was out of curiosity and not feelings. So Nao has zero experience with romance while Souta had his parents to look at for examples and he did like women in the past so it was easier to sort out his feelings even when he realized he was bisexual it was still easier for him. Plus Souta being the one person is Nao's life to give him unconditional affection and comfort since his mother is also hard. Because I think Nao knows how romance can muddle relationships from seeing his parents and the last thing he wants is to lose the one person in his life that helped put him back together. He's terrified of losing Souta as a friend whether it be from distance or romance it was clear that Nao wants Souta's attention the most out of everyone in his life because he's the one person he cares about the most. I can't wait to see how they figure out this hurdle with each other it'll be so satisfying in the end

We could be in for jealous Nao arc watching Souta and some other guy date and do all the things he now realises he wants to do with Souta.

My take is Souta doesn't see any hope with Nao unlike Inoue who saw how despondent he was on his 'date' with arashi. Although I could easily be wrong since 'its snowing' and next chapter could be Souta interrupting Nao and then them kissing in the snow (probs infront of Arashi).

Things I have noticed this chapter, (Chap. 56 edition): Arashiâs fit is a slay ngl good for her Naoâs fit is alright. (Itâs covered by his coat and scarf) Snow huh? You know what else snow means? Not a romantic moment thatâs for sure Still canât believe that flew over his head. No wonder he doesnât know her feelings for him. Arashi: Asks if heâs excited Nao: does not answer Oof. âA little distractedâ buddy⊠âWhatâs on your mind?â âNothing.â The Nothing: MIYAKOOOOOO Thereâs something so funny about her showing up and Arashi immediately getting upset about it Girl ainât even here to ruin anything sheâs just existing. Incredible. Over-priced cafesâŠI still think they got scammed even if the food was good. Noooo the soccer party :( âWe were talking about going to Karaokeâ girl you werenât talking about ANYTHING Miyako noting Naoâs not happy at all !!! I love how happy Arashi was when she left lol WHY IS SHE DRAGGING HIM D: DA PARTY !!!! Poor Souta :( No matter how fun a party might be the fact Naoâs at the concert with her is clogging his mind Guys I love Kingâs Game itâs so fun. But not when Takeo is king. âYeah Iâm okay.â no. Why does the baby lie :( I, too, would not let Takeo hog the cake. He isnât over it gang. THE CREAM PUFFS Did you know Souta can fit 3 cream puffs and 4.5 when heâs sad? Takeo didnât count it because his mouth was open and to that I say fuck you Takeo it counts! He really was quick to divert his train of thought from Nao. Ah fuck guys did you see that? Keisuke got his first static/dark panel. The concert!! Weâre here!! Her outfit still slays. Ya know I just realized her nail isnât filled in when she says this is the best Christmas ever. I like his outfit too. I forgot to mention it, but his earrings are peak. Hey now- I think an interesting detail is that the quote bubble is coming from âSoutaâ rather than Arashi. Really shows how disconnected he is. Hey what the hell HEY NAO????? THIS IS STILL KILLING ME WHAT IS HE DOING HE REALLY HALLUCINATED SOUTA JUST TO FEEL HAPPY I CANâT WITH THIS BOY WhoâŠWho has an entire conversation with a delusion oh my god HE FLIRTED WITH A DELUSION NOOOOOOO NAO WHY Goodness, no wonder she thinks Nao likes her back. He unapologetically âflirtedâ with her for a whole two minutes what is wrong with him âThank you, Ueshima-kun.â It makes sense in her POV to drop that so casually. It wasnât a big deal to her as it was to Souta. I wonder what would have happened if she knew Souta didnât want to give them up and only did because he gave up on Nao? âWasnât into the band.â Correction: He said he didnât know the band that well and thought it was better for her to go with Nao. âLuckyâŠâ Girl⊠âTotal miracle.â GIRL. And of course the concert started before Nao could get any more answers. Fantastic. Also what I find interesting is Nao saying âArashiâ and âSoutaâ in his sentence. This boy has only ever said Rina once and it was to introduce her to Souta. I think it proves that as much as she wants to get closer to him, heâll never call her by her given name. Ouch. Nao is having a mental breakdown. Back to the party! Miyako and her friends are here yippee God I hate Soutaâs hat. Someone out there hates him. He deserves a better hat. Mutual knowing about Nao and Souta!!!! Same Miyako, same. Oh. Oops. He let it slip that Nao rejected Souta. But at least it was to Miyako and not someone else. The debriefing!!! Miyako having a snack while Keisuke fills her in with the details is incredibly funny to me Iâd have a snack too. Canât get hungry while getting the tea. Ya know, Keisuke is a good friend here. Sure he might not like what was going on, but if Souta doesnât wanna talk about it, then so be it. Respecting Soutaâs wishes is important in my opinion. Miyako picking up on Naoâs wording !!! I know Soutaâs heartbroken but I wondered what would have happened if he realized sooner it wasnât a *rejection* in the sense he thought? The way he goes from sad and dejected to âoh hey :Dâ when Miyako shows up says everything. I still think she tried her best when convincing Souta to get more information from Nao about everything. Of course itâs not on Souta to fix everything. But maybe knowing that could help when he does get to talk to Nao (soon). The poor chip bag. I remember someone said it was representative of Soutaâs feelings so when he said he needed to throw it away it broke my heart :( poor baby⊠Do either of them know? Poor baby :( everyoneâs having fun and heâs moping Oh. Oh no. Please donât say it⊠CHUMMY?! DID ANYONE LOOK AT NAOâS FACE DID THAT LOOK CHUMMY TO ANYONE?! Soutaâs face when she mentioned Karaoke, oh no. The rabbits I canât. Teens will always jump to the most ridiculous conclusions. (Same) Bless Keisuke for trying to save it. Hey now. Gossip DOES hurt people you scrub. Miyako knew what she was doing by dropping the name of the Karaoke place. She absolutely knew. Takeo please stop abusing your cup. And maybe shut up. Second time he looks for Souta for back up and he isnât there lmao Girl is proud of what she did. I donât think it would have been Soutaâs last chance but it certainly would have reduced future chances I think. Iâm kinda torn between him going to find Nao and going to Junâs party but god I hope heâs going to Junâs because he canât stand the gossip anymore. He shouldnât be trying to chase Nao anymore. Heâs chased him enough. But knowing Souta, heâs going to be running to find Nao. Oh shit. Guys itâs snowing. You know what else is gonna happen when it snows? Yep. Itâs time. hehehehe.
