Waves' answer: Helluva was suggested to me by Youtube. I liked the way the thumbnail looked, so I watched it. It was so wild, that I watched the next episode. After that, I noticed the thumbnail for Hazbin pilot; Alastor really intrigued me for some reason. I watched it, and the rest is history. As soon as I heard his Transatlantic accent, I was hooked. I enjoyed the research put into the shows. The sigils, the lore of demons and Hell... Viv did her research. Cat asked: Where are you getting your Lust ring lore? Waves' answer: While I do study about Hell and aspects of it (scholarly based studies), I'm focusing more on the interaction between Alastor and Listener. As for world building, I'm using Helluva for inspiration. Doe asked if I remember it correctly, How did you get the idea of making NSFW of Alastor? Waves' answer: Fan feedback, really. I saw comments on Alastor videos, Tumblr, Facebook, etc.; many fans seemed to be attracted to him, yet there was a lack of adult content. When I learned he was asexual, I wondered if it was possible to create such audios. Therefore, I researched asexuality, and discovered the subcategory of demisexuals (I also recognized myself as being one). So, I realized he had to to have a good relationship with Listener established, which is why the main story focuses on romance. Most of the NSFW audios are, in my opinion, spin-offs of the main story. Further comment: There are a lot of demisexuals in this community, like Waves and myself (are you comfortable if I address those who identified as such by name? I don't mean to be invasive). No surprise then that we felt so engaged to an asexual character like Alastor, Viv really did a great work portraying that distinctive feature in a character if he was able to connect with us so deeply. Doe commented, "It feels really nice actually to have a content creator who is also Demi making these audios, like, comforting even because you GET it if you know what I mean" Galaad commented, "At least Waves knows what he's talking about and, more than feeling canon to the character, it also provides a tailored kind of cultured smut for our fellow ace ass. And it feels good to have a safe space where we can discuss it without judgment." I agree with you both, and so I said I love that of this community. You can just speak your mind without feeling a weirdo or fear of being judged. I mean, I AM a weirdo, but I don't like feeling as one and judged harshily All The Time. On Waves' wise words, "So much hate is in the outside world. Here, we can talk about things without hatred." There are great adult voice actors for Alastor, should I say. Personally, I'm a fan of TobinArts and Morphy VA, Tobin has public audios on MEGA and I have only listened to one very suggestive video of Morphy on YT that made me eager to check his NSFW content, will have to wait until I can afford a paid subscription on Patreon. So take my recommendations if you wish. TR4SHF1RE asked: When was the moment that you knew you'd make a good Alastor? Waves' answer: When I heard his Transatlantic accent, I was thrilled, because somehow in my life, I had studied it and learned to speak it. I researched more about him, and read fan theories. He mesmerized me, and I loved his entertainer aspect. So, I began developing my own head canons, and would practice the voice. I started collecting fan art because he is amazing visually-wise. Then, I started watching videos, listening to audios. I then saw the comments by the fans who saw him as something more, and realized there was a lack of content. And the rest is history. Oh yes, and his 1920s themeing sold me. I am fascinated by the early 20th century. Further comment: Waves shared a fun fact. Eric Stuart's VA for James from Pokemon gives the character a Transatlantic accent in the American English dub. So go check! Invis asked (oh, aren't you a cheeky cursed dog?): Is there a chance we will ever get a hand reveal, maybe with gloves? Waves' answer: I shudder to think of the chaos that would bring! Further comment: Of course we all went crazy because... Oh my God, h***s! I commented, "I want to see sooooo badly. Come on, feed us and enjoy us all fainting. We will surely do, because h***s... The ultimate lewdness that will doom our souls forever! I would settle even for a f****r..." Cat commmented (talking of being cheeky...): "Show us how dirty they get drawing with charcoal" and I almost had a heart attack before fainting in the fainting couch *borrows pearls from Moon and clutches them* Also, Doe commented: "I had a weird dream but it was funny as hell. We had a chat as usual and during NSFW time, Waves did a hand reveal and chat started losing its collective shit SO HARD as if it was the most lewd thing we had ever seen in our lives- it was glorious". Sometimes when you are writing a story it turns out differently than you planned. Waves' answer: Minor details change, yes, because as I work with these characters, I can flesh them out easier. But the main parts are the same. Follow up question: We will see how it ends then. Or are you done writing? Waves' answer: It's all done. Galaad asked: What's your favourite thing about Alastor?
