All of your attention to detail with his mindset, how he speaks to her, LITERALLY how he speaks to her with the switch in his accents... It all circles back to him satisfying himself, and his own inflated love for the way he sees himself. I was so immersed in you explaining his character that the sudden panting and moaning caught me off guard- KAKAKAKA The thing I like the most is the way you convince me he's SMART. And that's what I find attractive about him. The manipulation is through the roof, and I can't help but wonder how blind or how aware the listener is to Alastor's true inner thoughts, and I'm curious to find out more. And that's exactly the problem. That curiosity is what leads the listener to let him manipulate her, no matter if it's consciously or subconsciously. He's charming her, and me. The truth is, if she IS aware of his ego and yet is still drawn back to him believing her small "self-awareness" is enough, then that could mean he's won her over even deeper. Because she has convinced herself she's smart enough to not fall for his charms, that she's the one in control, meanwhile happily letting him have her as much as he wants, and needs. Really, amazing work!! I can see how much attention you put into these!! ^^
