What a year it's been! Can you believe time has passed so quickly? Why, just yesterday, you were a limping, bloody mess in that alley, and here we are, at the end of the year!

I want to thank you, Dear, for trusting me. You've encouraged me to open up, which I can't say about anyone else.

We've laughed, we've cried, we've created memories that will live with me forever, and hopefully you, as well.

I admit, before I met you, my life was rather monotonous. My existence was routine. But then, you appeared, and turned my life upside-down.

You and I are kindred spirits, Dear. Stubborn and driven. You fascinated me, and I wanted to protect you, to see you thrive.

I invited you into my world, and you so graciously accepted. How can I ever fully express my gratitude?
