There seems to have been some upset or misunderstanding about the radio family portrait. I WANT to create the project, make no mistake.
I will not tolerate fighting on this site. This is an oasis from the real world, which is full of misery and chaos.
We do not know each other other that what we read on the screen. We do not know what others are going through/struggling with in real life, so we cannot be angry. We must be patient and kind, open and understanding.
I apologize for any misunderstanding or irritation, and I say this from the bottom of my heart. I want us all to be on good terms, because we are, in essence, a family. We began as strangers, all with a fascination with Alastor, and over these months, we have built relations that will remain in our hearts long after the main story is finished. I feel so lucky that this community has so much love in it, and I will NOT allow it to become toxic. This is a pivotal moment in my life, and I've made so many self discoveries during it. We've laughed, we've cried, we've created jokes about hands and fainting couches. Our bonds have grown, and we have become friends.
Please, don't let words tear that all asunder.

I didn't even know something happened or that such an idea could cause discourse-... it really was a sweet notion, or just fun, if anything If people need assistance with the drawing, I can possibly help out too

2024-12-08 23:05:42 +0000 UTCThis is certainly something to wake up to. I read the posts and comments chronologically, and I’m still not sure what happened. I assume there were some comments deleted? Although it was most likely made with good intentions, I have to agree that list looked pretty bad 😅 I’m also not sure why I was on it while I hadn’t even seen it. Don’t get me wrong, I’m honoured to be included. But something about that didn’t sit quite right with me. I know I’m often very present here, but I’m still just like everyone else. Everyone deserved a spot on that list just as much as I did. 💛 Edit; apparently Invis put me on that list because I commented on the idea, but left the chat just before the list came up. Thank you for thinking of me, Invis 🫂 Thank you, Waves, for your promise and effort to not allow this place to become toxic. 💛 With that said, I don’t know how this will work practically, but I’m pretty good with a few graphic programs, so I’d like to offer my help with the drawing where I can. Even if people draw their OC separately with your Alastor and send them to me, I’m pretty sure I can combine them. But we still would need a bit of a plan of who goes where, or some conditions (like draw your character fully, so I have an easier time editing them in if they overlap with someone else’s character). Things like that. Edit 2; I apparently was only half awake when I read the previous post. So there was a plan already, sorry 😅 My offer to help still stands if you need anything though. If we go with the Excalidraw route again, I’ll leave that in other, more capable hands though xD Because I’m not sure when this project will begin, I am not yet volunteering to draw other people’s OC’s/personas yet. I’d love to, but I want to know I’ll actually be able to when the time comes, before I make promises. But if I can, trust me I will! ^^
