A bit of progress
Added 2024-11-29 17:57:26 +0000 UTCSo a while ago someone commissioned an audio where Listener makes an ill Alastor a bowl of jambalaya. I wrote that specific part, but then my inspiration dried up for a bit regarding what to do for the rest of the audio, since I didn't want the entire piece showcasing Alastor eating a bowl of food he couldn't taste. And so, I waited for some type of inspiration.
Well, I do believe inspiration struck me down recently like Zeus' lightning in the form of this horrid illness. While I sat feeling miserable and weak, bemoaning my bad fortune, I decided to try writing a bit... and I was successful! I completed the audio writing with included bits of my physical misery to make it a more rounded out, realistic plot.
Now, as for recording, I may go for Sunday, since I'm still congested. Some of you may wonder why I don't simply record while I'm sick for "authentic" sounding congestion. I would rather my voice be as clear as possible and use my acting skills to "sound sick" rather than actually record myself congested and mispronounce words accidentally. If my voice is clear and I'm acting, I can "choose" which times I'll sound congested. Trust me, it sounds MUCH better this way.

(⌒o⌒) Just please don't push yourself and be mindful of your current physical situation okay? I know you're a professional and know your limits (especially now given you're sick), but I just have to make that point.
