Happy day after Halloween to you! Not too many trick-or-treaters last night, so I currently have a cauldron-full of candy. Unfortunately, none of the packages are Haribo gummies, so I am in a predicament, for those are some of my favorite sweets, indeed!
Egad! I do believe I have solved the mystery of my hyperventilating during *ahem* CERTAIN scenes! See, I am a wicked Sinner, which means I am full of bad habits; one of my bad habits is crossing my legs when I sit and record (sometimes I stand, sometimes I sit). Well, as some of you may know, crossing the legs is terrible for circulation on its own; compound that with the low levels of the much-needed carbon dioxide in the blood during hyperventilation, and you have a dizzying disaster at hand! Yesterday and today while recording some hot-n-heavy scenes, I found myself experiencing light-headedness faster that usual. I then discovered that, again, I was sitting cross-legged on my chair. I uncrossed my legs, and it seemed to help a bit (though, I absentmindedly would cross them again out of habit).
Has this ultimately solved my proclivity to dizziness? No, because hyperventilating still affects carbon dioxide levels, and you can't moan without hyperventilating! However, I will try observing how I sit next time one of these scenes needs recording *looks at imaginary watch for dramatic effect* which should be in a couple of days for now!
I may have some outtakes regarding my discovery in how I sit and how it may be the reason!art
