Chapter 8 discussion!

This was a very important chapter for me, since it was one of the first ones I imagined. This chapter was one of the reasons I started my audios! It's why I recorded myself ripping up produce months ago. This chapter has been a long time coming.
Some facts about the chapter!
Alastor taking Listener out on two occasions to the city are not as innocent as they initially seem. After hearing that Listener was attacked by thugs, he intended to slaughter them (the punks). He purposely walked with Listener to see if they would ever identify the assailants.
A bottle of Château Margaux of "grand cru" rating (the highest quality of wine) costs on average $1,200 USD. The most expensive bottle of wine ever was a 1787 Château Margaux, which sold for $225,000 USD.
Yes, the cold front from the Sloth Ring was an Easter Egg for the NSFW.
If you notice during the walk to the park, the sounds of cars and ambulances can be heard initially, but are then replaced with soft music generated by the Radio Demon. Alastor had mentioned his dislike of the noise of progress, so I purposely had him "switch" on the music to drown out the ruckus of the cars.
"By the Light of the Silvery Moon" is one of the songs played in the park.
When the punks in the park approach, Alastor quiets his music gradually because he's on alert.
I voiced the punks with editing tweaks.
Yes, Listener runs away at the end in a panic, indicated by the opening door, running down the hall, running into the reverberating lobby, the heavy front door opening, and the rain storm (the cold front).
This chapter required 8 audio channels, the most for any of my videos.
Some of those growls were indeed made by me using my death metal growl technique. I mixed in some animal roars, too.

Did you think I was done commenting? Well think again! Question, does the listener speak during the silence at 3;45 after “indulging me” and “well, we should” or is it just allastor thinking? Oh, and you bet I timed how long he could shut his yapper, but because of those hooligans it was just short of a minute!

The first part lulls you to a sense of comfort so it makes the end all the more terrifying. Thank you for the explainations, that makes me enjoy this episode even more. Love all the subtle details. Can't get them all in one listening, so it gives us the will to listen to it several times. I guess that Alastor will search for the listener in next chapter, have an argument and get reconciliated. Keep the good job Radiowaves.
