Thoughts on the chats
Added 2024-07-17 13:03:19 +0000 UTCWell, I think we can all agree that yesterday's foray into the chatroom was completely wild and hilarious! These are my observations about the pros and cons:
Pros: Quick replies, photo uploads, lots of interaction with each other!
Cons: No record of our conversations once it's closed, limited time window.
I enjoy keeping records of our past antics on the message board comments, and it allows any of us to read them at any time. The chatroom disappears forever, so there's no way to read anything that was posted.
Therefore, I think the chatroom should simply be seen as a place where we can all be silly and relax after a long week for about two hours, but the majority of our conversations can stay in regular comments.
