Well, I technically have an internet connection now, but the download and upload speeds are RIDICULOUSLY slow. They seem to be getting sliiiiightly better by the day, as Comcast gets the local network rebuilt after the hurricane.
I have a file storage service selected, but getting the videos and audio uploaded is going to take forever , unless my connection speeds are fixed. I think it's just a matter of time. I expect to have the files uploaded by the end of this coming week, and we can try to resume normal operations for November... which would be good, because, as I feared, my insurance company is already fighting me on every cent of hurricane losses. :(
I've created a file system where files will be stored, and I'll change the password to the folders each month. I'll email everyone the passwords through Patreon.
It's new step that is a pain for everyone (sorry), but a necessary one... I was tipped off that there's a site that hacks Patreon pages and provides every single upload for anyone. It's shame; my old upload system was so easy. Grrr. This still won't guard against people posting individual files to various sites, but that thankfully hasn't been an epidemic. But obviously, a site displaying the entire Patreon page was an issue (and it's debut tied directly back to a month that saw a HUGE dropoff in enrollment and had me wondering if I should close the page).
Anyway, I just wanted to keep everyone in the loop. A new link system is on it's way, and you should have the details on where to get the material by Halloween. (and, yes, I'm using some of this "down time" to create new material. Rendering new vids as I type this).
