I survived the hurricane. My house did not.

Hello everyone,

That title says it all, I think.

The good news: most of my material possessions (and electronics/MKU materials) are ok. I had bagged/boxed most of my "stuff" in advance of the storm, and this ended up saving it all. Power has even been restored already (I'm amazed by the speed of the recovery, given the scope of the damage).

the bad news: I'm connected to this page on my phone, and that connection is pretty poor. I have no internet access, and likely won't for at least another week or two -- so you new sign-ups and those of you waiting for the new upload system I was in the middle of doing when the storm struck, it will be just a little bit longer. But the bigger news is my house. It's a almost a total loss; the entire thing needs to be gutted and rebuilt -- the only things surviving will be the exterior walls and hurricane windows. I can shower and maybe cook a meal in it once I get the kitchen torn out...but it's basically unlivable. This is going to take me years to recover from, and I don't even want to imagine the financial effects.
:(

I'm living in a friend's small RV at the moment. I'm glad to have it and to be alive...but this is obviously a huge loss.

Moving forward: I promised the MKU would be back, and it WILL BE. I just can't tell you when. If it gets to be toward the end of the month and I'm still not able to post download links, I'll pause the billing for November the same way I did for October. If I'm not posting new material or new links for the older stuff, I won't be charging anything.

So, I'm here, and I'll be back, I just can't tell you when yet. For those of you who are sticking with me still -- THANK YOU, as always. And watch those skies...Mother Nature will kill you if she can. She's the original Mankiller, after all.

-D

I'm glad you're okay!

Glad to hear you're ok Dusty, but very sorry to hear about your house. I can only imagine how awful something like that must be for you. Hopefully the insurance helps you out and you're able to get everything sorted out as soon as possible, whether that means rebuilding it or finding someplace new to live (which totally sucks as a thing to even be saying). At least you did the smart thing and had your stuff protected so that's good, but still, really sorry to hear it ended up hitting you so hard. Regardless, just focus on getting your home and everything else sorted out before focusing on any of this. Sure it's always great to see more videos and pics of busty, muscular ladies wrecking folks, but having a proper roof over your head again is a tad more important!
